About the Role We are looking for a Video Editor who can creatively shape our digital content and elevate its impact. This role demands not only technical skills but also an eye for meaningful content that resonates with our audience. The ideal candidate should be able to craft engaging edits for long-form content, cut compelling shorts/reels, and add thoughtful post-production polish — all while keeping the user’s perspective and attention span in mind. Key Responsibilities Edit videos for YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms. Create high-quality shorts/reels from longer discourse or event footage. Add subtitles, transitions, sound design, and visual effects as needed. Work closely with the content and social media teams to understand the narrative intent. Ensure alignment with the brand’s tone, aesthetics, and spiritual messaging. Organize and manage video assets systematically for quick retrieval and reuse. Stay updated with trends in content formats and audience preferences. Must-Have Skills Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.). Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and sound design. Ability to interpret content for spiritual, wellness, or community-based themes. Understanding of what works for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp). Attention to detail and a creative mindset. Ability to work independently and handle tight timelines when required. Mac user preferred Good-to-Have Basic motion graphics or animation skills (After Effects or similar). Experience with spiritual or inspirational content.
